Arno is a professor of Computer Engineering at University of Toronto. He directs research at Middleware Systems Research Group (msrg.org) with a focus on easing the development of scalable, reliable, and secure ultra-large-scale distributed applications. Prior to University of Toronto, Arno conducted research at various laboratories worldwide, including ICSI and LBNL at UC Berkeley and INRIA in Rocquencourt, France.
